Meet Coach Nicholas Dheilly
Founder & Primary Defensive Line Coach
Nicholas Dheilly, a former Canadian Football League (CFL) defensive end, founded True North Ballers to help young athletes develop their skills and reach their full potential. Born in Regina, Saskatchewan, Nicholas has been a standout in football from a young age, excelling at Dr. Martin LeBoldus High School, where he led his team to three consecutive Saskatchewan high school championships.
Nicholas went on to have an impressive U Sports football career, playing for both the Regina Rams and Saskatchewan Huskies, earning league all-star honors, breaking records, and being recognized as Canada West Rookie of the Year. His talent led him to the CFL, where he played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Saskatchewan Roughriders before announcing his retirement in 2024.
Nicholas founded True North Ballers to create a pathway for young football players to succeed by providing mentorship, expert training, and a supportive environment. His experience as a professional athlete and his passion for developing young talent drive the mission of True North Ballers, making it a top destination for aspiring athletes who want to excel in football and in life.
Meet Coach Dan Clark
Primary Offensive Line Coach
We are proud to welcome Coach Dan Clark, a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in the Canadian Football League (CFL), to the True North Ballers family. As a former Saskatchewan Roughriders offensive lineman, Dan played 131 games over 10 seasons and was part of the team that won the 2013 Grey Cup Championship. He also earned accolades such as Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman and CFL All-Star.
With his unmatched expertise in offensive line play, Coach Dan brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to our athletes. His passion for football, commitment to mentoring young players, and dedication to the growth of the game make him the perfect fit for True North Ballers.
Coach Dan will be leading our Big Man Camps and OL Camps, providing top-tier training to aspiring football players across North America. He is also a key contributor to the TNB Trenches Community, where he engages with athletes, parents, and coaches to help elevate their understanding of the game.
Meet Coach Sierra Parris-Kruger
Primary Volleyball Coach
We are excited to welcome Sierra Parris-Kruger as the Volleyball Coach at True North Ballers. Currently serving as the Volleyball Development Coordinator at Athol Murray Notre Dame College in Wilcox, SK, Sierra brings extensive experience in player development. Her role at Notre Dame focuses on enhancing the skills and abilities of young athletes, ensuring they reach their full potential both on and off the court.
As the former Head Coach of the 17U Cougar Volleyball Club and with years of experience directing university and club camps, Sierra emphasizes the technical, tactical, physical, and mental aspects of volleyball in her coaching.
Sierra's impressive playing career as a libero for the University of Regina Cougars saw her lead Canada West in digs and rank second in digs per set. Her achievements as a player demonstrate her commitment to excellence and her deep understanding of the sport.
As a coach, Sierra is passionate about mentoring young athletes, preparing them for future opportunities in volleyball, and providing them with strong role models. Her dedication and expertise make her an invaluable part of the True North Ballers team, and we are excited to see her inspire the next generation of volleyball players.
